O Eternal Mystery, we call you infinite Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, we call you God; in you, in your consciousness, we live and move and
have our being. Infinite Source, we accept that you are omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and, that our being is constituted of the quality, substance and the essence of you. You are closer to us than breathing and,
therefore you know our needs before we do. We surrender to your will, your love and your law that governs, guides, sustains, directs and instructs us. We are satisfied to be what you want us to be, to do what you
want us to do, to be where you want us to be. We are grateful that you invite us to be still and silent and to hear you assure us that "I am your rest and your abiding place." You invite us to know that we, in the midst
of you, are One, the great I Am. Through you, with you and in you we realize that the Kingdom of God is within us, and we seek to let it flow forth into expression. We trust that it is your good pleasure to give
us the kingdom so that we can rest and relax in you. We seek you, we sow you, we serve you, an invisible presence, to human sense intangible, but tangible in expression and practical in life. We are grateful that you
go before us to make straight the way, to prepare our mansion for us, and, to multiply the loaves and fishes.
You go before us to be the cement of love between us and all we meet in our business, professional and family life. You within us are mighty. You within us are the presence and the power in which we rest.
You are our bread and our meat. You are the inspiration of our life and its fulfillment. We accept all that your will and wisdom ordains, and await its unfolding before us and within us.
We are grateful for all that we experience, though we are mystified and humbled by your love. We trust your love, your plan for us and know you are with us in all we encounter.
We surrender now to the secret, sacred silence of you….. After suitable silence We go forth now in acceptance, gratitude, trust and surrender to manifest the Kingdom of God within us and seek to let it flow into expression. God, you made this day, you
perfected it and you decreed its activity. Your will is done in us today. And so it is! (Amen).
We are happy to share our prayer with you. Please join us in using it daily. Rhoberta Shaler & Charles Andersen, Authors of Soul Solitude: Taking Time for Our Souls to Catch Up www.SoulSolitude.com |
